Eyelash extensions

I had always been doing eyelash extensions at Milly's in Bugis. But after the last visit I there ,I totally disappointed by them. My eye got infection and and all my own lashes come off and I had to apply lashes serum for like 3 weeks before it grow back. Sigh.... Never mind forget about talking about it anymore.

After 3 weeks my eyelashes grow back it time for me to get lashes done again. But tough decision to make as I really don't want to lose all my own lashes again. So this time round I did not went to Milly's 

( must understand it not easy for lashes to grow back)

I passby a small shop at Bedok Central where they doing eyebrow embroidery and eyelashes. So I was thinking why not try since nearby. Want to do any touch up also easier. ( heehee! near my home )

The shop was there for 8yrs already and it own by a China lady boss. The shop was full of crowd when I was there. (which mean their skill must be good )

The lady who did my eyelashes was a Thai lady (cherry) . Honestly when I heard she from Thailand I was super pleased as Thailand people were known as very skillful in any kind of beauty especially in eyelashes , hairs and medicure. 

The shop they provide cluster or strand by strand extensions. For me I like thick lashes as my own will very short and little. So I chose cluster ( your own prefer as strand by strand also can be thick ) .

After chose what I want finally overhaul in process Ha! Ha! Wow surprisingly I don't feel anything when she doing it. I don't feel painful, poking none of it at all. Totally different when I did at Milly's I will feel poking and uncomfortable in my eyes. 

The process was around 45mins

 ( strand by strand may be longer). 

When everything done I open up my eye and here 

Beautiful long full lashes. Cherry was indeed skillful and a very sweet girl to chat with. 

Now I begin to believe what other people had said there always good and quality service around neighbors areas. 

So happy I found my new eyelashes therapist.

For my clusters was $58 and I top up $10 for using better Korea glue so total I pay only $68. 

To me it cheap as I don't have to travel all the way to town or other places. Finish just walk home and when need. Want touch up also great nearby.

Finally I found and decided on my Surgeon.

Knowing my situation Dr Ng had offer his help and advise to me. His team was fantastic great especially his loving nurse Michelle who had call me to make and appointment who specially stop her lunch and pick up my call when I call back. ( I feel so paisei )   Also Dr Ng who call me personally and explain over the phone what he will do or advise. ( I tell you I got so many questions that he spend around 45min with me on the phone. No Doctor will do that. ) 

I fix the appointment on the same day at 4pm. I did it very last minute and Michelle do her best to squeeze me in for the slot knowing that my partner will be working so unable to make it other days.

 ( so sweet) Dr Ng is very strict and he want your partner to be there on the consultantion so that your partner will have understanding and supportive. 

Arriving at the clinic I was greet by the loving smile. It was Michelle, she greet me with my name first when I haven't even mention who I am. She have good memory. My partner and I was impressive  how professional and great customer service they have. 

After helping me with the registeration she even ask if I need any drink. They have a pantry around where all they customer can have some hot beverage. 

The view in the clinic was perfect and nice. They have a nice outdoor sitting area with a small water fountain. (if not because of haze I would have sat outside ) 

My partner is someone who will not raise any question or answer anything when he with me during the past consultantion with others Doctors. 

Surprisingly for the time he raise question and answer to all Dr Ng question. So I know he feel confident with Dr Ng and of course so am I. 

Dr Ng was very details and patience  person. He very soft spoken person and a very kind look. He keep make sure that the both of us understand the procedure what can be done and what cannot. 

Both me and my partner feel comfortable and confident with him and we decided to go ahead with the advise he had given to this. 

I will update more on my process and more details.

Looking Sponsor for my Plastic surgery

I People may feel that why is it that I need sponsor for my Plastic Surgery since I want to it myself to look good. Why don't save your own to do it.

Hello! Not everyone is rich or well to do!

People look for help or sponsor of cause there must be a reason behind it. 

And also for those who don't understand let me tell you "disfigured " is a very hurting thing to a woman. 

Don't judge anyone by not knowing the reason why.

I sharing my story with you all as I don't want people to keep thinking I looking for sponsor just because I super cheapskate or freeloader.

Here my reason and story behind :

I had a Rhinoplasty done in April 2013 in Bangkok.  8 month after my implant my nose got infection from the rhinoplasty that is so badly that it eat of the tip of my nose and I had to remove the implant immediately if not it will be worst and risky as I was heavy pregnant during the infection. So I went to remove my implant which cost me $2500. Doctor have advise I need to do something about it after the recovery which around 2 month which might cost around $ 12k. But all this could be done only after I give birth.
But thing was not smooth at all, my pregnancy was unstable as after the removal of implant as I was given a GA in order to remove and stitch my wound up.
My baby was needed to be delivery as pre-mature at 30weeks. Her birth weight was only 970g and need to stay in the hospital for 2month in NICU. Her hospital bill was near to $65k.
Both me and my partner saving was dry up by all the medical bill incurred.
I was unable to work anymore as my baby need special cares and needs after her discharge so have to stay home and look after her.  And my partner become the only breadwinner for family of 4. (I had another daughter from my past marriage who 10yrs old.)
Now she already going 18th month and had already attend infant care I had planning to go back to work.
I use to work as a beauty adviser but now with my nose in this state I really lost self confidence and courage. I even had once hear my elder daughter telling me ' mummy you nose so ugly can you don't look at me. " the sentence hurt me the most hard.
My partner than advise me to go and see a doctor and see what wrong.
We went to consultant at a nose ENT rhinoplasty , the doctor told me that my nose is known as contracted rhinoplasty
Which cause by previous rhinoplasty done and if I don't do anything about it as time goes by it will get shorter and shorter.
I ask what will be the cost if I need to fix this issues , he told me the amount was $30k in total. My heart went sank. At my situation now I totally unable to afford this amount of money. Since my partner is the only one breadwinner.
I contacted my insurance company but they said anything to do with for beauty they don't cover.
I need to gain but my confidence
I need to get back to work
I need to help my partner support the family.
We had planning to get married by end of this year but because of my stupid nose I keep avoid this topic when my partner bring up. ( Even Through he doesn't mind how I look)

So you people tell me what should I do

Finding Plastic surgery

Looking for the right plastic surgeon is definitely something that everyone is thinking about and how. Some might be thinking doing it in Singapore or overseas. Since the cost in Singapore is so high as compare to overseas. Honestly if you really calculate the cost overseas and Singapore is about the same.

Rhinoplasty Infection

From young I was already complaining about my typical Asian nose. I always think that it flat and no nice at all. Always wanted to do something about it for young but I never dare to tried after seeing how it could be done on YouTube and write on how rhinoplasty was done. Seeing it just let me cold sweat.

Finally 3yrs back in 2013, I finally pick up my courage to give it a try. I beginning to start doing research to look for plastic surgeon. ( and of course the cost also la )

I not only research for doctor in Singapore but also in BBK ( Bangkok ). 

To my surprise, the price different in SG and BBK was a huge different. For those who might know 

In Singapore price range - $4k - $8k

In BBK price range - $600 -$1.2k

For me of course chose the cheapest one since I planning to travel to BBK and the same time have some shopping. 

So I went ahead contacting the doctor over there start sending picture of my nose and getting quote on price. Finally I get a best price for one of the doctor in BBK ($800) making plan for my trip there and get thing done. 

Finally got my Rhinoplasty done she so happy and can said love it.

But all this doesn't last long. 8 month after my Rhinoplasty my nose got infection. Let me share with you, you will never know it had got infected as when it start it just appeared like having a small pimple on the nose. ( never take it too lightly when it happened cos you will regret)

During that time I was thinking "aiya just so small like a pimple nevermind want la." My nightmare beginning! The small pimple start to grow and eat off my out layer of my nose tip. ( YES ! EAT OFF I'M NOT KIDDING ) I was panicking to hell loh. (Luckily I had my hubby with me to tell me what to do and search for a plastic surgery to resolve my problem. 

In the end, we went to TCS Aesthetic to remove the implant (which cost me $2500 Singapore dollars ) as it was already infected so bad that they unable to redo it. Also I need to stitch my nose tip together. ( worst thing that happened to me)  I couldn't do anything to it until if fully recover and it like 1yr later.

I can tell you honestly the scar in the nose tip will just make you cry after seeing it as it really ugly. 

Share with you people as time go by during the recover the nose will become shorten and you will definitely need to get help. 

This lesson teach me a very hrash lesson never just chose cheap surgeon and get it done overseas cos you will be ending up paying for more. Now I going to had my nose repair by a surgeon in Singapore. Will update again.
